Terms of service
These terms apply to every order placed with WightMade3D ("we", "us"), a UK business based on the Isle of Wight. By placing an order you agree to them. They don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Who we are
WightMade3D is a small independent studio making 3D-printed, laser-engraved and UV-printed goods. Contact us at shop@wightmade3d.com.
Orders and contract
When you place an order you'll receive an acknowledgement email. This confirms we've received your order, not that we've accepted it. Our contract with you is formed when we send your dispatch email. We may decline an order (for example if a product is mispriced, unavailable, or the personalisation requested infringes someone else's rights), in which case we'll refund you in full.
Made to order
Everything we sell is made after you order it. Because each piece is 3D printed or hand-finished, small variations in colour, texture and surface finish are normal and part of the character of a handmade item. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the finished product.
Personalised items
We print, engrave or cut exactly what you enter at checkout, including capitalisation and spelling. Please check carefully before you pay. Personalised items cannot be returned for a change of mind (see our Returns policy), though faulty or incorrectly made items are always replaced or refunded. Photos you upload must be yours to use; we won't reproduce copyrighted or offensive material.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay. Payment is taken in full at checkout through Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. International customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes in their own country.
Delivery
See our Shipping policy for dispatch and delivery times. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Returns and faults
See our Returns policy. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you're entitled to goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose; if they're not, we'll put it right.
Product care and safety
Most of our products are made from PLA, a plant-based plastic. Keep them away from direct heat, radiators, dishwashers and hot cars, as PLA can soften above about 50°C. Articulated toys and fidgets contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 unless the product page says otherwise. Novelty items are for adults.
Intellectual property
Product designs, photos and text on this site belong to WightMade3D or our licensed designers, who are credited on the relevant product pages. Please don't copy them without permission.
Liability
We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law says we can't limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and any dispute can be brought in the courts of England and Wales (or Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there).
