Six decades deserves a bit more than a card. This personalised 60th birthday slate coaster is laser-engraved with a vintage label design and their name — understated, quietly cheeky, and unmistakably theirs.
Sixty years in the making. The design borrows the look of a classic 1966 vintage label, the sort you would find on a good bottle that has been sitting at the back of the cabinet quietly getting better. Hand-finished in natural slate, so every piece carries its own subtle grain, texture and weight — no two are ever quite the same.
The laser cuts deep into the cool dark stone and leaves a crisp pale impression that only gains character with use. Set it beside a glass of their favourite whisky, a Sunday morning coffee, or a very well-earned cup of tea, and it becomes a small daily nod to a milestone worth marking.

Made to order and dispatched within 3 working days with Royal Mail Tracked 48, which usually arrives 2–3 working days later. UK delivery is free on orders over £30; below that it’s £2.85 for coasters and small items or £3.85 for everything else. Worldwide from £14.
Standard items can be returned within 30 days. Personalised pieces can’t be returned for a change of mind, but if anything is wrong we’ll replace it or refund you in full.
Delivery
Every piece is made to order in our Isle of Wight studio and dispatched within 3 working days. We post everything with Royal Mail Tracked 48, which usually arrives 2–3 working days after dispatch. You’ll get a confirmation email the moment you order, and a tracking email the moment it’s on its way.
- UK orders over £30: free delivery.
- UK orders under £30: coasters and other small items £2.85 (large letter); everything else £3.85.
- Outside the UK: small items £14, larger items £20, with Royal Mail International Tracked. Any customs duties or import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
Returns — the short version
Changed your mind? You’ve got 30 days from delivery to return any standard item — just email us first. Personalised pieces are made just for you, so we can only take those back if something’s wrong — and if something is wrong, we’ll always make it right.
Standard items
If you’re not happy with a standard (non-personalised) item for any reason, email shop@wightmade3d.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number. Send it back unused and in its original condition, and we’ll refund it within 14 days of it reaching us. You cover the return postage, unless the item is faulty — then it’s on us.
Personalised items
Because they’re printed or engraved just for you, personalised pieces can’t be returned for a change of mind. But if yours arrives faulty, damaged, or the personalisation doesn’t match what you entered at checkout, tell us within 30 days and we’ll replace it or refund you in full, postage included. Do double-check names, dates and spellings at checkout — we make exactly what you approve.
If anything arrives less than perfect
Email a photo to shop@wightmade3d.com with your order number. Often we won’t need the item back at all — we’ll simply send a replacement or refund you straight away, and if we do need it returned, the postage is on us.

Most of what we make ends up as a present, so we never put prices in the parcel. Want to send it straight to them? Just use their address at checkout, and add a message in the note box at the basket — we’ll write it on a card and pop it in with the order.
Materials & care
Materials & care
3D-printed pieces are made in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic from renewable corn starch. Keep them out of direct sun and away from heat — a hot car or a radiator will soften them. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Slate coasters are laser-engraved by hand and are naturally uneven; each one is unique. Photo pieces are UV-printed directly onto the surface, so the image won’t peel or fade.
