A wise owl glasses holder with big round eyes and a look that says he knows exactly where you left your specs – he's wearing them.

Pop your frames on from the front and they settle across his beak as if they were made for him, lifted clear of the surface so the lenses stay off hard tops, which is where scratches happen. Round the back, a little lipped ledge will hold a key or a ring.

He's built up in layers of warm brown, sand and white, with orange-ringed eyes, a curved black beak, scalloped chest feathers and bright orange feet gripping a wood-grain perch. He's nice and slim, so he squeezes onto a crowded bedside table or desk, and he looks just as good keeping watch with no glasses on at all.

Why people buy it

  • A proper parking spot for glasses, so they stop going missing
  • Keeps lenses lifted off hard surfaces, which is how they get scratched
  • Slim enough for a busy bedside table, desk or hall shelf
  • Big eyes, a slightly stern brow and plenty of wise old owl character
  • An easy gift for owl lovers, teachers and anyone forever hunting for their reading glasses – birthdays, Christmas, Mother's or Father's Day, Secret Santa

What fits
Most reading glasses, spectacles and sunglasses, including chunkier frames. Glasses aren't included – he'll have to borrow yours.

Size
15 cm tall and 11 cm wide.

Made on the Isle of Wight
Made to order and hand-finished in our Isle of Wight studio, formed from PLA, a plant-based bioplastic derived from corn starch – light, sturdy and lower-impact than petroleum plastics. Fine layer lines and small variations come from the way each one is made, and give every owl his own character.

Care
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from prolonged heat and direct sunlight.

Prefer dogs? He has friends: our Dachshund, Border Collie, Cockapoo, Dalmatian, French Bulldog and British Bulldog glasses holders.

Returns — the short version

Changed your mind? You’ve got 30 days from delivery to return any standard item — just email us first. Personalised pieces are made just for you, so we can only take those back if something’s wrong — and if something is wrong, we’ll always make it right.

Standard items

If you’re not happy with a standard (non-personalised) item for any reason, email shop@wightmade3d.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number. Send it back unused and in its original condition, and we’ll refund it within 14 days of it reaching us. You cover the return postage, unless the item is faulty — then it’s on us.

Personalised items

Because they’re printed or engraved just for you, personalised pieces can’t be returned for a change of mind. But if yours arrives faulty, damaged, or the personalisation doesn’t match what you entered at checkout, tell us within 30 days and we’ll replace it or refund you in full, postage included. Do double-check names, dates and spellings at checkout — we make exactly what you approve.

If anything arrives less than perfect

Email a photo to shop@wightmade3d.com with your order number. Often we won’t need the item back at all — we’ll simply send a replacement or refund you straight away, and if we do need it returned, the postage is on us.

The legal bit

Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights, including your 14-day cancellation right for online purchases of non-personalised goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Sending it as a gift?

Most of what we make ends up as a present, so we never put prices in the parcel. Want to send it straight to them? Just use their address at checkout, and add a message in the note box at the basket — we’ll write it on a card and pop it in with the order.

Materials & care

3D-printed pieces are made in PLA, a plant-based bioplastic from renewable corn starch. Keep them out of direct sun and away from heat — a hot car or a radiator will soften them. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Slate coasters are laser-engraved by hand and are naturally uneven; each one is unique. Photo pieces are UV-printed directly onto the surface, so the image won’t peel or fade.
